Indian Wedding Venues in Orlando
Indian wedding venues in Orlando are some of the most popular in the country for Indian and South Asian weddings. The resorts here are built for big, multi-day celebrations: a mehndi on Thursday, a sangeet on Friday, a baraat, pheras or nikkah on Saturday, and a reception that night. As an Indian wedding photographer based in Florida, we have photographed South Asian weddings at most of the major Orlando resorts, including more than 50 weddings at Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress.
This guide shares what we have learned about the Orlando hotels we know best, plus other popular venues couples ask us about, so you can choose a venue that works for your traditions, your guest count and your photos. For hotels and things to do for your guests, Visit Orlando is a helpful guide.

The Orlando venues we know best
Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress
We have photographed more than 50 weddings at Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, which makes it the venue we know most closely. Its lakeside grounds and lawns give couples beautiful outdoor options for ceremonies and portraits, and the resort is used to hosting full South Asian wedding weekends. Because we know the property so well, we can plan portrait locations and timing around the light before the wedding day even starts.
Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate
The Omni is another resort many of our Orlando couples choose. It is a large golf resort with spacious ballrooms and outdoor spaces, which suits big guest lists and multi-event weekends. Couples often keep every event on property, so guests can move from the mehndi to the sangeet to the reception without leaving the resort.
Gaylord Palms Resort, Kissimmee
Gaylord Palms is known for its huge glass-covered atrium filled with Florida-themed gardens, and for ballrooms large enough for the biggest receptions. We photographed Alisha and Kunal’s Hindu Gujarati wedding here. See their full Gaylord Palms wedding.
Hilton Orlando
Hilton Orlando, near the Orange County Convention Center, is a favorite for South Asian weddings thanks to its large event spaces and outdoor lawn areas that work well for ceremonies and baraat processions.

What to ask Indian wedding venues in Orlando before you book
- Baraat rules: Can the groom arrive on a horse or in a car? Where can the procession start, and is live dhol allowed outdoors?
- Fire for the havan: Many hotels require approval for an open flame during the pheras. Ask early.
- Rain plan: Florida afternoons can bring sudden storms. Make sure every outdoor event has an indoor backup room.
- Event flips: If your ceremony and reception are in the same room, ask how long the change takes. That window is perfect for couple portraits.
- Getting-ready rooms: Rooms with large windows and natural light make a big difference in your photos.
Photography tips for Indian wedding venues in Orlando
- Plan outdoor portraits for the hour before sunset. Midday Florida sun is very harsh.
- Allow extra time for family photos. South Asian families are large, and a clear list keeps this moving.
- Schedule the baraat with your photographer and DJ together so the timing works for everyone.
- If you have multiple events across several days, book coverage for each one. Every event has its own story.
